He is the CEO of Cambridge House International Inc., and since 2011 he has expanded Cambridge House from Canada's leading junior mining conferences to become Canada's most recognizable brand in public venture capital. Today Cambridge House produces the largest investment conferences in the country in both technology and natural resources and hosts the largest video library of investment content in Canada. Jay sits on the board of the Entrepreneur Organization, a global business community of over 12,000 leading entrepreneurs in 53 countries worldwide.
Mr. Ralfs has a B.Sc. (Geology) (1975) from the University of British Columbia and has been a self-employed business consultant from 1998 to present. Mr. Ralfs has experience with public companies as a director and through officer positions held with several of the companies.
Mr. Hillebrand has over 35 years of experience primarily in the management and financing of start-ups, both in resource and non-resource companies. He started his career in 1985 with a major investment dealer that transitioned into involvement with start-ups and junior resource ventures. Throughout his career he has held a number of positions including that of CEO, directorships and various management roles.
Mr. Zimmerman has been involved in public markets for nine years, eight of which were at a national brokerage firm. Over that time Mr. Zimmerman grew his role from an investment advisor to a derivatives portfolio manager utilizing a global thematic lens with a focus on commodity markets. Mr. Zimmerman is a CFA charter holder and holds a bachelor of commerce in international business from the University of Victoria.
Mr. Stanley has been involved in the venture capital markets for more than 20 years and has held numerous positions with both private and publicly listed companies. He was President and CEO of Hathor Exploration, a junior uranium company that was acquired by Rio Tinto in 2012 for $650M.
